May 30, 2007

Dear Friends:

As has been long established practice at St. Peter’s, we will adopt a modified schedule of services for the summer.

Beginning Sunday, June 10th through Sunday, September 3rd, we will consolidate Sunday morning services (the 8:00 and 10:00 a.m.) into a single 9:00 a.m. service. We will alternate Rites I & II each Sunday, beginning with Rite I at our 9:00 a.m. service on June 10th.

After consulting with a number of members of the congregation who regularly attend the Saturday afternoon service, we plan to schedule that service for Sunday afternoons at 5:00 p.m. All services will be held in St. Edmund’s chapel.

I hope that by adjusting our Sunday services schedule during the summer months we will enable a greater number of parishioners to join us weekly.

We welcome any feedback, inquiries or input you might care to offer on the service schedule or any other way we could be helpful.

And, please plan to join Jane, Robert and me on June 10th, following the 9:00 a.m. service that day, for a coffee hour at the Rectory.

With my prayers and best wishes for a safe and enjoyable summer of relaxation, recreation and spiritual growth for you and your whole family,

Faithfully yours in Christ’s love,

The Reverend David F. Sellery
