Are we expecting? That is the great question of Advent. Mary and Joseph were so expectant that they exchanged all of their plans for a greater plan of God. They said “yes” to God’s bigger dream. Their stories set markers along our trail, encouraging us to say “yes” to God too, taking us on a journey of faith and expectation we could never imagine either. Are we expecting? I hope so. I pray so. I expect we are.
